Aushia Urquhart

Aushia’s approach as a Pilates instructor is shaped by her background in healthcare and her training in dance, bringing together thoughtful movement, body awareness, and a strong emphasis on safety and function. She teaches Pilates through a rehabilitation‑informed lens, focusing on alignment, control, and purposeful movement. Her experience working in healthcare settings has deepened her understanding of how the body responds to stress, injury, and recovery, and has strengthened her commitment to creating movement spaces that feel calm, supportive, and empowering. She strives to help clients rebuild confidence in their bodies while moving at a pace that feels appropriate and sustainable.

Dance continues to influence how Aushia teaches, informing her attention to flow, balance, and coordination, while Pilates provides the structure and precision that supports long‑term strength and stability. She enjoys blending these perspectives to create sessions that are both intentional and fluid.

Whether you’re returning to movement after injury, managing ongoing discomfort, or simply looking for a supportive, mindful practice, her goal is to meet you where you are. She is truly committed to helping clients move with greater ease, confidence, and connection.
