WANT BETTER MOVEMENT FOR YOUR CLIENTS?
Lead instructor, Sally Belanger, brings her 20+ years of expertise and breaks down the fundamentals: bones, muscles, and anatomical
movements.
You already have great instincts about the body: this course helps you understand the why behind them. Why a cue clicks for one client and not another. Why the same stretch feels amazing for one person and leaves someone else sore. That’s biomechanics, and once you see it, you can’t unsee it.
Whether you teach Pilates, guide patients through recovery, make adjustments, or coach lifts, you’re working with the same beautifully complex machine: the human body. This course helps you understand how it moves: how joints work, how muscles pull, why alignment matters, and how small changes in positioning make a big difference.
Note: If course sessions are missed during the 5-week course, we will not be offering a virtual option or recordings of classes missed. The course may be recorded for LINK internal purposes only.

Understand how load, leverage, and positioning affect risk and results during exercise or manual therapy
Apply biomechanical thinking to real client sessions; cueing, adjusting, or programming with more confidence
Look at any movement and start asking “why does this work the way it does?”
Step 1:
Embrace the Theory
Immerse yourself in current theories of movement, understanding the intricacies of functional and dysfunctional movement patterns and the proper way to assess movement mechanics.
